Happy Mother's Day! Every year my siblings and I purchase baskets full of annuals to plant in my Mother's wooden whiskey barrels and rock garden. I believe she has the most beautiful yard in town, and she receives many compliments each year.
This year I will be adding a gift that does not require watering, weeding, or any maintenance whatsoever. I have created this flower wreath for Mom to hang on her entryway door to bring a smile to her face through rain, sleet, snow and hail.
I created the banner using one of the new Stampin' Up! Photopolymer clear stamp set. This set includes the banner, every letter of the alphabet, all numbers, and numerous fun symbols (57 stamps)!
The posts holding the banner are simply wooden skewers wrapped with ribbon.
For the flowers, I used the Big Shot Blossom Party die and the leaves were cut using the Little Leaves Sizzlits. I also added ribbon and button embellishments.
I hope this wreath has put a smile on your face, and I wish you a beautiful day.
Thanks for stopping by,
Janice

I love the wreath and am wondering how did you adhere the flowers to the wreath. Glue? wire?
(p.s. I'm going to follow your blog now)
